A. Webb Writer, LLC was founded by a creative writer with a background in sketch comedy, improvisation, TV/film acting, and singing – AKA “Ash Webb” as her friends and family call her. Unless she’s being insufferably hilarious, in which case she’s referred to as “Ash Wipe”, “Ash Hole”, or (and this is her sister’s favorite) “Ugly”.
Ash Webb plays “Natalie” in this CollegeHumor sketch (wearing a solid, periwinkle-colored T-shirt).
In addition to doing comedic sketches, Ash has coached comedy improv classes. But when Covid-19 struck, she was left unemployed and rendered to a life of eating $4.49 frozen bags of chicken nuggets with mustard several nights a week.
Ash Webb plays the character in the striped, colored T-shirt, in this CollegeHumor sketch.
Upon growing tired of nightly chicken nugget dinners (although this did take some time, they really were quite good) she started teaching comedy writing classes via the pandemic’s greatest technological baby – Zoom.
During this time, Ash began freelancing as a copywriter. She spent her evenings writing advertisements, media scripts, web pages, and newsletters for her friends, her friends’ friends, and eventually her friends’ friends’ friends (and sometimes their cousins too).
After a few months, a web writer – and A. Webb Writer, LLC – was born.
